error in installing Office - Microsoft Community.

I want install MS Office proffessional plus x I use microsoft 8. The installer stops with an error code. KB universal CRT problem and ask me if i solved this problem start again the installer. I download KB for 8. I start the installer and i see only the searching for updates to this computer screen and nothing happen. Upon checking the error that you have encountered, it seems that it involves an update with Windows 8. It just so happened that it got mixed up while you were installing Office We strongly suggest to have the update performed before installing office If you need more information you can check this Microsoft article.

I just find out error on different web sites and found below solution but unfortunately when open first link from below solution. Please refer to this link and run the option 2 to use the Fixit Tool to clean Office. I suggest use the Office tool and other version of Office tool that you have installed Office in your environment before.

Hi, I have tried to to install standalone office on Windows 8. Monday, November 6, PM. Hi, Do you install earlier version of Office in Windows 8. I downloaded the KB and I can install it without any problems. First please check if the version number of the KB is match for Windows system. Then I suggest you try to clean Office completely in your environment.
